Purchase Manager
Responsibilities:
- Ensure competitive pricing, on-time delivery, and quality of materials and parts.
- Source, select, and negotiate favorable purchase terms with suppliers, covering quality, price, delivery, and services.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers; negotiate contracts, discounts, and volume rebates.
- Manage both local and overseas deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at the site/store.
- Proactively analyze and recommend improvements to procurement activities, such as using quantity discounts and cooperative purchasing.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, visiting them as necessary.
- Coordinate with suppliers and end-user departments to resolve supply-related issues.
- Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies and transportation-related issues.
- Prepare requisitions, purchase orders, and ensure they align with company policies and requirements.
- Track and manage records of ordered and received goods.
- Administer online purchasing systems and maintain accurate data for audits and reporting.
- Negotiate, monitor, and manage contracts to ensure they meet company standards.
- Process invoices, payments, and maintain reference materials for future contracts.
- Analyze market trends, product availability, and delivery systems to forecast needs.
- Forecast product and service demand to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent shortages.
- Regularly monitor stock levels and ensure that purchasing plans are aligned with production or service needs.
- Conduct a comprehensive review of the procurement process, implementing improvements in efficiency, cost savings, and overall procurement practices.
- Prepare regular reports on market conditions, pricing trends, and vendor performance.
- Maintain a comprehensive record of contracts and agreements for future reference.
- Take on any additional tasks assigned by the reporting manager related to procurement or business needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: BD700.000 - BD800.000 per month
