Job Overview

The Senior Civil Engineer will supervise and manage civil engineering works for the Sewer Scheme Supervision Project. This role requires a highly experienced engineer with deep knowledge of sewer network construction and infrastructure projects in the GCC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the construction of sewer networks, including pipeline laying, manhole construction, and micro-tunneling.

• Review and approve construction materials, methods, and method statements.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and OH&S regulations.

• Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality of works and materials.

• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals to ensure design compliance.

• Monitor project progress and report updates to the Project Manager and Ministry representatives.

• Coordinate with contractors and resolve technical issues during construction.

• Ensure the project is completed to high-quality standards and within agreed timelines.

• Maintain documentation and reports for project tracking and auditing.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on sewer systems and infrastructure projects.

• GCC region experience is required; local experience in Bahrain is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control practices.

• Solid understanding of financial management and resource planning in engineering projects.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

• PMP certification preferred.

• CRPEP license preferred.

• خبرة في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي مطلوبة؛ والخبرة المحلية في البحرين ميزة إضافية.

• معرفة قوية بأساليب البناء والمواد وممارسات مراقبة الجودة.
