The Head of Procurement will lead the strategic and operational procurement function for civil and infrastructure projects in Bahrain. Responsible for ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement to support project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business and project goals.
• Oversee tendering, negotiation, and subcontract award for all civil and infrastructure procurement packages.
• Manage and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for performance and compliance.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals across project sites and the head office.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance to ensure aligned procurement execution.
• Develop & monitor procurement KPIs, budgets, and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. CIPS, PMP, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
• 10–15 years of procurement experience in the construction industry with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience with Bahrain projects is preferred.

مهام المشتريات الاستراتيجية والتشغيلية للمشاريع المدنية ومشاريع البنية التحتية في البحرين. وسيكون مسؤولاً عن ضمان إتمام المشتريات في الوقت المناسب وبتكلفة مناسبة، بما يتوافق مع المعايير، لدعم تنفيذ المشاريع.

المسؤوليات

• تطوير وتنفيذ استراتيجيات المشتريات المتوافقة مع أهداف العمل والمشروع.
• الإشراف على العطاءات والتفاوض ومنح العقود من الباطن لجميع حزم المشتريات المدنية والبنية التحتية.
• إدارة وتقييم الموردين والمقاولين من الباطن فيما يتعلق بالأداء والامتثال.
• التأكد من أن جميع أنشطة المشتريات تتوافق مع سياسات الشركة واللوائح ذات الصلة.
• قيادة وتوجيه فريق من المتخصصين في المشتريات عبر مواقع المشاريع والمكتب الرئيسي.
• التعاون مع مديري المشاريع والمهندسين وقسم المالية لضمان تنفيذ المشتريات بشكل منسق.
• تطوير ومراقبة مؤشرات الأداء الرئيسية للمشتريات والميزانيات ومبادرات خفض التكاليف.

المؤهلات

• درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية، أو سلسلة التوريد، أو مجال ذي صلة. يُفضّل الحصول على شهادات CIPS أو PMP أو ما يعادلها.
• 10-15 سنة خبرة في المشتريات في قطاع البناء مع 5+ سنوات في القيادة.
• يفضل أن تكون لديه خبرة في مشاريع البحرين.
