Electrical Technician – Steel & Aluminum Industry

A leading company in the steel & aluminum sector is seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Technician to join their maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve electrical equipment breakdowns, including LV/MV motors, switchboards, transformers, etc.

• Perform planned, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasks

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical failures with minimal supervision

• Utilize SAP to manage spare parts and maintain accurate maintenance records

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and plant operational requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma in relevant electrical field

• Completion of PEC Craft Training

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in heavy industry (or no experience required after PEC Training completion)

• Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance tools and IT systems

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and manuals

• Excellent English communication skills

Utility Operator – Potlines – Dubai/Abu Dhabi

A leading steel & aluminum company is seeking passionate Utility Operators to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in critical operations such as anode changing, pot beam raising, and metal tapping

• Perform essential quality control tasks, including metal and bath sampling

• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment through housekeeping and hazard reporting

• Operate and maintain potroom tools and equipment (training provided)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Potroom Utility Operator (or similar role)

• Secondary School Certificate

• Physically fit and willing to work shifts in potrooms

• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

• Basic English communication skills

الوصف الوظيفي:

• الاستجابة وحل أعطال المعدات الكهربائية، بما في ذلك المحركات منخفضة ومتوسطة الجهد ولوحات التوزيع والمحولات

• أداء أعمال الصيانة المخططة والوقائية والتنبؤية

• تشخيص أعطال الكهرباء وحلها بحد أدنى من الإشراف

• استخدام نظام SAP لإدارة قطع الغيار والحفاظ على سجلات الصيانة

• الالتزام بإجراءات السلامة ومتطلبات تشغيل المصنع

المتطلبات:

• دبلوم في مجال الكهرباء ذي صلة

• إتمام تدريب PEC Craft

• خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في الصناعة الثقيلة، أو لا يشترط خبرة بعد إتمام تدريب PEC

• معرفة قوية بأدوات صيانة الكهرباء وأنظمة تكنولوجيا المعلومات

• القدرة على قراءة وفهم الرسومات الهندسية والكتيبات

• مهارات تواصل ممتازة باللغة الإنجليزية
