Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of mechanical maintenance experience in the oil and gas (onshore/offshore), refinery, or petrochemical industries.
- Proven experience in planning and executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Hands-on experience with static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pipelines, and storage tanks.
- Extensive knowledge of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, and gearboxes.
- Experience in conducting and supervising inspections using Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques such as UT, RT, and PT.
- Familiarity with condition-based monitoring techniques including vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.
- Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical maintenance standards and safety procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical system failures.
- Excellent documentation, planning, and technical reporting skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise maintenance activities for mechanical equipment.
- Support turnaround and shutdown maintenance operations.
- Ensure reliable operation of static and rotating equipment.
- Conduct inspection and monitoring programs to maintain equipment integrity.
- Implement predictive maintenance strategies.
- Coordinate with technical teams and project stakeholders.
