Job Description
ITS is seeking a Data Engineer – Platform for an onsite assignment in Bahrain. This role focuses on data platform engineering, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance within the banking sector. The position requires strong experience in SQL development, SAS tools, and data reconciliation processes, with direct exposure to banking systems and financial data.
Key Responsibilities
Consolidate, validate, and analyze financial data including budgets, forecasts, Balance Sheets, and Profit & Loss statements.
Design and build stored procedures and ETL jobs to reconcile financial transactions across multiple systems.
Contribute to data warehouse architecture, relational database management systems (RDBMS), and database optimization solutions.
Develop SQL Server T-SQL procedures and functions to support batch processing and enterprise-level reporting.
Build and maintain SAS EG and SAS DI jobs.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve discrepancies in financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support month-end closing activities and financial reconciliation processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Science & Engineering.
4 to 6 years of total experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server or Oracle and SAS tools.
Strong background in SQL Development, SAS Enterprise Guide (EG), and SAS Data Integration (DI).
Proven experience in banking environments and IT functional roles.
Core Skills
Advanced SQL development and ETL process design.
SAS platform tools including DI, EG, Base SAS, BI, OLAP, and Stored Processes.
Financial reporting, reconciliation, and data validation.
Knowledge of risk management, regulatory compliance, and data modeling within the banking sector.

الوصف الوظيفي
تبحث شركة ITS عن مهندس بيانات للعمل في موقع العميل في البحرين. يركز هذا الدور على هندسة منصات البيانات، وإعداد التقارير المالية، والامتثال للمتطلبات التنظيمية في القطاع المصرفي. يتطلب المنصب خبرة قوية في تطوير SQL، وأدوات SAS، وعمليات تسوية البيانات المالية، مع خبرة عملية في بيئات البنوك.
المسؤوليات الرئيسية
تجميع وتحليل البيانات المالية مثل الميزانيات، التوقعات، الميزانية العمومية، وحساب الأرباح والخسائر.
تصميم وبناء الإجراءات المخزنة (Stored Procedures) ووظائف ETL لتسوية المعاملات المالية.
المساهمة في تصميم مستودعات البيانات وأنظمة قواعد البيانات العلائقية وتحسين أدائها.
تطوير إجراءات ودوال T-SQL على SQL Server لدعم المعالجة الدُفعية وإعداد التقارير.
إنشاء وتشغيل وظائف SAS EG وSAS DI.
تحليل وحل الفروقات في البيانات المالية لضمان الدقة والامتثال.
دعم عمليات الإقفال الشهري والتسويات المالية.
المؤهلات المطلوبة
درجة البكالوريوس في علوم الحاسب أو هندسة الحاسب.
خبرة من 4 إلى 6 سنوات، منها 3 سنوات على الأقل في SQL Server أو Oracle وأدوات SAS.
خبرة قوية في تطوير SQL وأدوات SAS Enterprise Guide وSAS Data Integration.
خبرة سابقة في العمل ضمن القطاع المصرفي والأنظمة التقنية المرتبطة به.
المهارات الأساسية
تطوير SQL المتقدم وتصميم عمليات ETL.
أدوات منصة SAS بما يشمل DI وEG وBase SAS وBI وOLAP وStored Processes.
إعداد التقارير المالية وتسوية البيانات.
فهم متطلبات إدارة المخاطر والامتثال التنظيمي ونمذجة البيانات في القطاع المصرفي.
