Warehouse Coordinator

Location: Bahrain
Job Type: Full-time

Wilhelmsen is seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to manage the bonded warehouse operations in Bahrain. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth handling, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining full compliance with all regulations and company standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the daily operation of the customs bonded warehouse, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage, receiving, and dispatch of materials and goods.

• Liaise with customs and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant warehouse operations, including documentation for imports and exports.

• Ensure compliance with all government regulations (Customs, Civil Defense, Ministry of Health, Environmental authorities), especially for hazardous or dangerous goods. Maintain MSDS and regulatory documentation.

• Handle storage invoicing and ensure completed job files are submitted to finance for timely processing.

• Support business development by ensuring optimal warehouse space utilization to meet operational demands.

• Assist in optimizing warehouse layout and storage capacity to improve operational efficiency.

• Monitor inventory reconciliation and audits to maintain accurate stock levels.

• Report warehouse operations to management, highlighting risks and improvement areas.

• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines, particularly in material handling and storage processes.

• Participate in training on warehouse safety, regulations, and operational improvements.

Accountabilities:

• Efficiency and accuracy of warehouse operations.

• Proper inventory management and stock control.

• Adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

• Effective coordination between internal teams (logistics, customs, etc.).

• Timely and accurate dispatch and delivery of goods.

• Hands-on experience with Customs system (OFOQ) for imports and exports.

Qualifications:

• Degree-level formal education or equivalent relevant qualification.

• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).

• Ability to work under pressure.

• Knowledge of bonded warehouse operations and freight forwarding is mandatory.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to collaborate across organizational lines, internally and with customers.

• Systematic, accurate, and detail-oriented approach to work.

تبحث Wilhelmsen عن منسق مستودعات منظم ونشيط لإدارة عمليات المستودعات المربوطة بالجمارك في البحرين. تعتبر هذه الوظيفة حيوية لضمان التعامل السلس مع البضائع وتخزينها وإرسالها، مع الالتزام التام بجميع اللوائح والمعايير الداخلية للشركة.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

• تنسيق والإشراف على عمليات المستودعات المربوطة بالجمارك يوميًا لضمان الكفاءة والدقة.

• الحفاظ على سجلات المخزون بدقة وضمان التخزين، الاستلام، والتوزيع الصحيح للبضائع.

• التنسيق مع الجمارك وأصحاب المصلحة لضمان سير العمليات بشكل سلس ومتوافق مع اللوائح، بما في ذلك وثائق الاستيراد والتصدير.

• الالتزام بكافة اللوائح الحكومية (الجمارك، الدفاع المدني، وزارة الصحة، الجهات البيئية)، خصوصًا للبضائع الخطرة. الحفاظ على مستندات MSDS والمتطلبات التنظيمية.

• إدارة فواتير التخزين وضمان إرسال الملفات المكتملة إلى قسم المالية لمعالجة سريعة.

• دعم تطوير الأعمال من خلال ضمان الاستخدام الأمثل لمساحة المستودع لتلبية متطلبات التشغيل.

• المساعدة في تحسين تصميم وترتيب المستودع لزيادة السعة وتحسين الكفاءة التشغيلية.

• مراقبة وتسوية المخزون والمراجعات الدورية لضمان دقة المستويات.

• إعداد تقارير تشغيل المستودعات للإدارة مع تحديد المخاطر ومجالات التحسين.

• ضمان الالتزام بإرشادات السلامة، خصوصًا فيما يتعلق بالتعامل مع المواد وعمليات التخزين.

• المشاركة في التدريبات المتعلقة بالسلامة واللوائح وتحسين العمليات.

المؤهلات:

• مؤهل جامعي أو ما يعادله في مجال ذي صلة.

• إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية تحدثًا وكتابة.

• القدرة على العمل تحت الضغط.

• معرفة بعمليات المستودعات المربوطة بالجمارك والخدمات اللوجستية أمر إلزامي.

• القدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل وضمن فريق.

• القدرة على التعاون عبر خطوط المنظمة داخليًا ومع العملاء.

• منهجية دقيقة ومنظمة في العمل.
