Workshop supervisor

Join Sulzer Bahrain as a Rotating Electrical Machines Rebuild Engineer and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of industrial rotating electrical machines. You will lead rebuild projects, support the workshop team, and ensure technical excellence while adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and provide project overviews for rebuilds of rotating electrical machines.

• Produce and manage standard technical work instructions for rebuild projects.

• Assist in developing workshop tooling and planning for growth in rebuilds.

• Ensure all safety-related KPIs are met for observations and Safety Walks.

• Support implementation of HSEQ systems and safety initiatives.

• Assist with reports, quotations, and technical documentation as needed.

• Coordinate with leading hands and the Service Centre Manager for job planning.

• Develop and share best practices for repair processes in Bahrain.

• Coach and support the workshop team to enhance technical skills.

• Coordinate parts, manufacturing, service, diagnostics, and performance products to maximize facility utilization.

• Provide technical support to customers for equipment repairs in Work In Progress (WIP).

• Participate in weekly WIP meetings to update job statuses.

• Support the deputy Electrical Duty Holder in the test bay area.

• Proven experience in electrical machine rebuilds and industrial maintenance.

• Strong technical knowledge of rotating electrical machines.

• Ability to lead projects and coordinate teams effectively.

• Familiarity with HSEQ standards and safety procedures.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work on-site in Bahrain.

Business Development Manager (EMS)

Join Sulzer as a Business Development Manager – Electromechanical Services and drive growth across the Middle East & CIS regions. You will be responsible for expanding EMS product lines, building client relationships, and implementing strategic plans that maximize revenue and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for all business development activities for EMS offerings in the Middle East & CIS.

• Collaborate with sub-region management to develop and execute strategic plans for EMS product lines.

• Grow sustainable order intake and sales revenue by increasing job volume and maximizing revenue per job.

• Develop winning customer strategies to achieve high levels of sales success.

• Establish long-term contracts positioning Sulzer as the preferred service partner for all rotating equipment.

• Build high-level influence networks and strong client relationships.
