Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Procurement Officer to manage purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and inventory planning. The ideal candidate should have experience in the manufacturing industry and a proven track record of negotiating favorable terms, ensuring quality, and optimizing procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure competitive pricing, timely delivery, and quality of materials and parts.

• Source, select, and negotiate favorable purchase terms with suppliers, including quality, price, delivery, and services.

• Identify and onboard new suppliers; negotiate contracts, discounts, and volume rebates.

• Manage local and overseas deliveries to ensure timely arrival at site or store.

• Analyze and recommend improvements to procurement activities, such as using quantity discounts and cooperative purchasing.

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, including site visits when necessary.

• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve supply-related issues.

• Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies and transportation issues.

• Prepare requisitions, purchase orders, and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Track and manage records of ordered and received goods.
