About the Job
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our vehicle sustainment team in Bahrain. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, plan, design, and develop new applications for electro-mechanical equipment and systems.

• Review contractor standards, specifications, and documentation to determine mechanical engineering requirements.

• Design, repair, or review gas and diesel engines, and mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, ventilation, and instrumentation systems using analytical and investigative methods.

• Gather and correlate data, perform engineering research and development involving calculations and tests to develop new applications or upgrade existing hardware.

• Guide and assist technicians in fabrication and installation of mechanical and related equipment to ensure conformity with design and specifications.

• Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to improve equipment function or eliminate malfunctions.

• Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field, OR

• 7+ years of mechanical experience with trade school certification or associate degree, OR

• 10+ years of qualified mechanical experience.

• Experience with MRAP FOV systems maintenance or training required.

• Familiarity with MRAP/RCV systems.

• Proven maintenance, repair, and technical experience in industrial, commercial, or military operations.

• Proficient with hand tools, diagnostic tools, power tools, and multi-meters.

• Ability to apply troubleshooting procedures to isolate faulty components.

• Must meet all government CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) travel requirements.

• Valid U.S. Passport valid for at least two years post-employment start date.

• Valid Driver’s License and High School Diploma or GED.

• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to US or OCONUS locations.

Clearance Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance before starting.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch, and kneel.

• Ability to push, pull, and reach.

• Ability to work in high noise areas.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and small parts.

• Ability to work with computers and type.

المؤهلات الأساسية

• خبرة 3 سنوات فأكثر في مجال الميكانيكا مع شهادة بكالوريوس في مجال ذي صلة، أو

• خبرة 7 سنوات فأكثر مع شهادة من مدرسة مهنية أو دبلوم مشارك، أو

• خبرة 10 سنوات فأكثر في المجال الميكانيكي.

• خبرة أو تدريب مسبق في صيانة أنظمة MRAP FOV ضرورية.

• معرفة بأنظمة MRAP/RCV.

• خبرة مثبتة في الصيانة والإصلاح والخبرة الفنية في المجالات الصناعية أو التجارية أو العمليات العسكرية.

• إجادة استخدام الأدوات اليدوية وأدوات التشخيص وأدوات الكهرباء متعددة القياسات.

• القدرة على تطبيق إجراءات استكشاف الأخطاء لعزل المكونات المعطوبة.

• استيفاء جميع متطلبات السفر الحكومية لـ CONUS Replacement Center (CRC).

• جواز سفر أمريكي ساري المفعول لمدة لا تقل عن سنتين بعد تاريخ بدء العمل.

• رخصة قيادة سارية وشهادة الثانوية العامة أو ما يعادلها.

• القدرة على اجتياز اختبار الكشف عن المخدرات قبل التوظيف.

المؤهلات المفضلة

• الاستعداد للسفر إلى مواقع داخل الولايات المتحدة أو خارجها.

متطلبات التصريح الأمني

• يجب أن يكون المتقدم مواطناً أمريكياً وقادراً على الحصول على تصريح Public Trust والاحتفاظ به قبل بدء العمل.

About the Role:
We are looking for an Estimator with at least 2 years of experience in Cost Estimation and Structural Load Calculation specifically for Metal Solar PV Mounting Structures. This role is part of our Metal Fabrication Division.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with a strong technical background.

• Strong understanding of project cost estimation, analytical skills, and expertise in financial analysis.

• Experience in developing databases of qualified vendors, manufacturers, or suppliers to ensure competitive cost and quality.

• Knowledge of MIS reports and proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD 2D, SolidWorks/3D modeling, SAP2000, and SketchUp software.

• Excellent communication skills with a self-motivated and dynamic attitude.

• Responsible for complete project estimation, site visits and measurements, metal works design, and drawings.

• Must be registered with the Ministry of Labour of Bahrain.

• Fluent in English.
