About You

5+ years of experience in network engineering with strong expertise in cloud networking

Step into a dynamic role supporting cutting-edge naval network systems in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. If you have solid IT experience and a passion for advanced tactical networks, this position offers hands-on involvement with mission-critical technology and close collaboration with government and civilian teams.

This position is based in Bahrain and focuses on the sustainment and modernization of multiple advanced naval network systems including ADNS, CANES, CENTRIXS, ISNS, SCI Networks, and more.
Key Responsibilities
-
Perform system installations, sustainment, upgrades, and distance support for servers, networking devices, workstations, storage, and peripherals
-
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend permanent configuration changes for shipboard networks to support mission readiness
-
Coordinate troubleshooting and system integration efforts with dispatcher teams, ship crews, contractors, and vendors
-
Guide customers on proper maintenance of shipboard networks and associated equipment
-
Handle administrative duties including attending technical meetings, reporting status, and preparing data for reports
-
Travel to Chesapeake, VA for up to one month for hands-on training with shipboard technicians
-
Work overtime and take ship rides as required to meet critical work schedules
-
Drive to various destinations as needed
Requirements
-
Current IAT II or higher security certification per DoD 8570.01M and ability to obtain Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire
-
5+ years of progressive IT experience in an enterprise-scale environment
-
Entry-level knowledge of CANES; additional experience with ADNS, CENTRIXS, ISNS, SCI networks, Windows Server administration, and Cisco networking preferred
-
Ability to travel, work extended hours, and perform physically demanding tasks including ship rides
-
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to necessary locations

المتطلبات
