Hempel is looking for a Commercial Excellence Specialist to join the global Marine team based in Bahrain. You will report to the Commercial Excellence Manager and collaborate with a diverse, talented group from around the world, gaining exposure to a unique global network.
Responsibilities

Support the Global Commercial Excellence team in standardizing commercial processes and achieving key objectives
-
Use advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, SQL queries) to analyze and interpret complex data sets
-
Participate in data hygiene processes to ensure data quality
-
Drive sales initiatives from other functions in a structured manner
-
Promote and support effective use of sales tools like CRM and Power BI
-
Proactively identify challenges and collaborate on practical solutions within the commercial space
-
Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and suggest improvements for tools and processes
What We’re Looking For
-
Graduate in Business, Econometrics, Data Science, or any data-intensive discipline
-
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially advanced Excel (large data set analysis, SQL, etc.)
-
Experience with project management tools such as Miro or Trello is preferred
-
Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written
-
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to negotiate, influence, and drive change
-
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global, matrix environment

This role supports the implementation and maintenance of grooming and uniform standards organization-wide, ensuring employees adhere to policies that reflect our company’s brand and service expectations.
Main Duties

Assist the supervisor in enforcing grooming policies to maintain a consistent, professional corporate image
-
Conduct routine checks to ensure compliance with grooming and uniform standards
-
Organize and facilitate grooming workshops and refresher courses to raise awareness
-
Help review and update grooming policies in line with industry trends and operational needs
-
Address employee concerns related to grooming by providing guidance and escalating significant issues when necessary
-
Coordinate with uniform suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely availability and distribution of materials
-
Participate in internal audits to assess grooming compliance and document findings
-
Maintain accurate records of compliance, training sessions, and employee feedback for continuous improvement

Adhere to company and airport health, safety, and security regulations
-
Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Minimum Requirements
Education:
Diploma in Hospitality, Human Resources, Management, or a related field
Experience:
2–3 years in grooming, hospitality, or customer service
Other Essential Skills:

Strong knowledge of grooming and uniform standards in professional environments

Excellent communication skills with ability to give clear, constructive feedback

Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
