Resident Engineer

About the Role

 Supervise and manage the processes related to the site work preparation, execution, verification, and validation of Contractor’s submissions, site works and guidance for an effective implementation are all in accordance with drawings, specifications and local regulations.  To lead and direct the site supervision team to ensure smooth implementation of the project construction as per the design and contract documents.  Liaise with client’s representative, contractor, construction manager and the design manager.

What you will be doing

 Address technical issues by advising and coordinating the site technical team for supply chain submittals and site methodology. Allocate areas of risks, opportunities related to the project activities, set the operational controls and the verification mechanisms to ensure effectiveness of controls. Apply Quality / Time / Cost assessment to review the impacts of the suggested changes to the project’s requirements and progress. Chair and coordinate project commercial, technical, contract meetings and finalize related MoM. Clarify BIM requirements and set up for implementation during the project execution (if BIM is applicable). Communicate the annual leave plan to the employees, review leave dates and submitted leave applications. Complete the Supplier Performance Evaluation Assessment to present to the DOCS and the Corporate QA. Coordinate the assessment of presented variations with the QS / Admin Coordinator and advise the Employer. Coordinate with Corporate QA Team upon identification of non-compliances that requires investigation. Custodian of the implemented SMPs and Key responsible for the project supervision processes and requirements to deliver in compliance with the contract, project and other applicable requirements. Handles all contractual and commercial issues. Identify and address changes to the Contractor in relation to project’s requirements / activities. Identify the internal and external factors that affects the project’s ability to deliver the required services / output.

Planning Engineer

Required Experience

* Minimum of 12 years overall experience in development or construction projects including multi-storey residential buildings having worked with engineering consultancy or construction industry in the Middle East and other locations.

Education

* Minimum qualification of degree in an Engineering related field. A postgraduate degree of the same and/or registration as member from recognized professional body is advantageous.

Essential Skills

* Software skills with microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc), Primavera and Microsoft Projects. 

* Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.

* Compilation of various project reports as directed by management from time to time.

* Client focussed, providing advice and services. 

* Works well in a team with a collaborative approach.

حول الدور

 الإشراف على وإدارة العمليات المتعلقة بإعداد أعمال الموقع، وتنفيذها، والتحقق من صحة عروض المقاول، وتقديم التوجيهات اللازمة لضمان التنفيذ الفعال، بما يتوافق مع الرسومات والمواصفات واللوائح المحلية. قيادة وتوجيه فريق الإشراف على الموقع لضمان التنفيذ السلس لأعمال المشروع وفقًا لوثائق التصميم والعقد. التواصل مع ممثل العميل، والمقاول، ومدير الإنشاءات، ومدير التصميم.

ماذا سوف تفعل

 معالجة القضايا الفنية من خلال تقديم المشورة والتنسيق للفريق الفني للموقع لتقديم سلسلة التوريد ومنهجية الموقع. تخصيص مجالات المخاطر والفرص المتعلقة بأنشطة المشروع، ووضع الضوابط التشغيلية وآليات التحقق لضمان فعالية الضوابط. تطبيق تقييم الجودة / الوقت / التكلفة لمراجعة آثار التغييرات المقترحة على متطلبات المشروع وتقدمه. رئاسة وتنسيق الاجتماعات التجارية والفنية والعقدية للمشروع ووضع اللمسات الأخيرة على MoM ذات الصلة. توضيح متطلبات BIM وإعدادها للتنفيذ أثناء تنفيذ المشروع (إذا كان BIM قابلاً للتطبيق). توصيل خطة الإجازة السنوية للموظفين، ومراجعة تواريخ الإجازات وطلبات الإجازات المقدمة. إكمال تقييم تقييم أداء الموردين لتقديمه إلى DOCS وضمان الجودة المؤسسي. تنسيق تقييم الاختلافات المقدمة مع منسق الجودة / الإدارة وإبلاغ صاحب العمل. التنسيق مع فريق ضمان الجودة المؤسسي عند تحديد حالات عدم الامتثال التي تتطلب التحقيق. أمين على SMPs المنفذة والمسؤول الرئيسي عن عمليات الإشراف على المشروع ومتطلباته لتقديمه بما يتوافق مع العقد والمشروع والمتطلبات الأخرى المعمول بها. التعامل مع جميع القضايا التعاقدية والتجارية. تحديد ومعالجة التغييرات التي قد تطرأ على المقاول فيما يتعلق بمتطلبات/أنشطة المشروع. تحديد العوامل الداخلية والخارجية التي تؤثر على قدرة المشروع على تقديم الخدمات/المخرجات المطلوبة.

مهندس تخطيط

الخبرة المطلوبة

* خبرة إجمالية لا تقل عن 12 عامًا في مشاريع التطوير أو البناء بما في ذلك المباني السكنية متعددة الطوابق بعد العمل مع الاستشارات الهندسية أو صناعة البناء في الشرق الأوسط ومواقع أخرى.

تعليم

* يشترط الحصول على شهادة جامعية في مجال ذي صلة بالهندسة. يُفضّل الحصول على شهادة دراسات عليا في نفس المجال، أو التسجيل كعضو في هيئة مهنية معترف بها.

المهارات الأساسية

* مهارات استخدام برامج مايكروسوفت أوفيس (Excel، Word، Powerpoint، إلخ)، وPrimavera وMicrosoft Projects. 

* مهارات ممتازة في التواصل ومهارات العرض.

* إعداد التقارير المختلفة للمشروع حسب توجيهات الإدارة من وقت لآخر.

* التركيز على العميل وتقديم المشورة والخدمات. 

*يعمل بشكل جيد في فريق مع نهج تعاوني.
