Job Title: Customs Document Clearing Agent
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customs Document Clearing Agent to join our dynamic team in Manama, Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be an expert in preparing and processing Bayan declarations and possess a strong understanding of Bahrain customs regulations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient clearance of shipments, minimizing delays, and maintaining compliance.
Responsibilities:
Bayan Expertise
Follow up on customs clearance processes.
Documentation preparation and submission.
Customs Liaison to facilitate smooth clearance procedures.
Communication with relevant stakeholders (customs, logistics, etc.).
Organization and management of clearance documents and schedules.
Problem-Solving to address any issues during customs processing.
Compliance with all customs regulations and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Customs Document Clearing Agent in Bahrain, with a strong focus on Bayan processing.
In-depth knowledge of Bahrain customs regulations and procedures.
Excellent understanding of import/export documentation requirements.
Proficiency in using customs clearance software and systems.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken is a plus).
Valid Bahrain Driving License is preferable.
