Senior Fund Accountant
Role Location: Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain

The Role & Key Responsibilities:
The Fund Accountant is responsible for the day to day administration of the portfolio allocated and will strive to be a one point contact to the Investment Manager(s) and investors of the funds. Job role will include but not limited to the below mentioned items:
- Monitor cash activity of the funds in your portfolio and prepare broker/cash reconciliations on a periodic basis.
- Liaise with prime brokers and Investment Managers to resolve cash breaks.
- Monitor portfolio positions on a periodic basis and alert your manager or Investment Manager on any break.
- Process corporate actions to reconcile cash accounts and positions.
- Independently price the Investment positions on a monthly, weekly, quarterly, and annually or daily basis.
- Ensure reporting deliverables are produced to a high standard and delivered in a timely manner.
- Ensure reporting deliverables are produced in line with the appropriate accounting standards, fund documentation, local regulations, policies and procedures.
- Prepare Net Asset Valuation for the funds on a monthly, weekly, quarterly, annually or daily basis as required by the Investment Managers.
- Process subscription and redemption activities in a timely manner.
- Coordinate documentations for capital activities to ensure AML compliance.
- Build excellent working relationships with clients.
- Ensure all work undertaken complies with the client’s documentation, relevant regulatory requirements and anti-money laundering regulations.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
- Follow Company procedure at all times.
- Collaborate with other managers in the office to ensure the timely completion of deliverables.
- Provide cover to other teams if required.
- Satisfaction and retention of clients falling under your portfolio.
- Timeliness and accuracy of the work falling under your responsibility.
- NAV accuracy falling under your responsibility.
- Internal controls and monitoring of the SSAE18 projects.
- Punctuality and work ethics.
Skills Required:
- Academic background with desirable qualifications/certifications in Accounting / Finance.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role incorporating the above functions.
- Technical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills.
- IT skills.

الدور والمسؤوليات الرئيسية:
يتولى محاسب الصندوق مسؤولية الإدارة اليومية للمحفظة المخصصة وسيسعى جاهداً ليكون نقطة اتصال واحدة لمديري الاستثمار والمستثمرين في الصناديق. سيتضمن الدور الوظيفي على سبيل المثال لا الحصر العناصر المذكورة أدناه:
- راقب نشاط النقد في الصناديق الموجودة في محفظتك وقم بإعداد عمليات التوفيق بين الوسيط والنقد بشكل دوري.
- التواصل مع كبار الوسطاء ومديري الاستثمار لحل مشاكل انقطاع السيولة النقدية.
- قم بمراقبة مراكز المحفظة بشكل دوري وقم بإخطار مديرك أو مدير الاستثمار بأي انقطاع.
- معالجة إجراءات الشركة للتوافق مع حسابات النقدية والمواقف.
- تسعير مراكز الاستثمار بشكل مستقل على أساس شهري أو أسبوعي أو ربع سنوي أو سنوي أو يومي.
- تأكد من إنتاج المواد المقدمة للتقارير بمستوى عالٍ وتسليمها في الوقت المناسب.
- ضمان إعداد التقارير النهائية بما يتماشى مع معايير المحاسبة المناسبة، ووثائق الصندوق، واللوائح المحلية، والسياسات والإجراءات.
- إعداد تقييم الأصول الصافية للصناديق على أساس شهري أو أسبوعي أو ربع سنوي أو سنوي أو يومي حسب متطلبات مديري الاستثمار.
- معالجة أنشطة الاشتراك والاسترداد في الوقت المناسب.
- تنسيق الوثائق الخاصة بالأنشطة الرأسمالية لضمان الامتثال لمكافحة غسل الأموال.
- بناء علاقات عمل ممتازة مع العملاء.
- التأكد من أن جميع الأعمال التي يتم تنفيذها تتوافق مع وثائق العميل والمتطلبات التنظيمية ذات الصلة وأنظمة مكافحة غسيل الأموال.

المهارات المطلوبة:
- خلفية أكاديمية مع المؤهلات / الشهادات المرغوبة في المحاسبة / المالية.
- 1-2 سنة خبرة في دور مماثل يتضمن الوظائف المذكورة أعلاه.
- المهارات التقنية.
- مهارات ممتازة في التواصل الشخصي والكتابي.
- مهارات تكنولوجيا المعلومات.
