Role Purpose
The tax accountant will be responsible for ensuring operational compliance with the local legislation governing Tax in UAE and Bahrain.- The post holder is responsible for preparing timely Tax returns, in line with legal requirements for filing, along with all related analysis, reconciliations, and, where required, language translation.
- The post holder is also responsible for organizing and maintaining books and records as required under local legislation, and for supporting any inspections and audits.
- Where necessary, the post holder will meet tax authorities.
- The post-holder will also be the primary point of contact for operational queries and issues arising as a result of the introduction of Tax, ensuring advice offered is approved by Global Tax Team in London and/ or Deloitte as external tax advisors, where necessary.

Your Role

About The Team
The DeFi team at Polygon Labs is one of the most well-known and most established in the space. Your Responsibilities
- A typical day involves participating in both in-person and virtual calls to pitch, onboard, and provide project support for DeFi initiatives on Polygon networks. It often includes global travel to attend conferences, while also focusing on developing team strategy across various blockchains within the Polygon community, such as Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, Polygon CDK chains, and Polygon Miden. Close collaboration with the existing DeFi team is essential, along with working cross-functionally with teams like Governance, Institutional Finance, CDK, and Enterprise on DeFi initiatives.
- Creating and managing pipelines of DeFi native projects.
- Cultivating subject-matter expertise around new DeFi primitives, and developing frameworks for analysis of narratives.
- Understanding needs of projects building in the Polygon community, and working hands-on to support their growth.

- مراقبة حالة العمل الجاري وميزانيات العملاء؛ وقيادة اجتماعات الحالة الداخلية مع إدارة المالية والمشاريع؛ ومراجعة التقديرات/الفواتير والموافقة على الفواتير.
تعليم:
- درجة علمية مكتملة في تخصص التسويق / الاقتصاد.
- خبرة سنة واحدة في الصناعة.
مهارات:
- مستوى اللغة الإنجليزية: بطلاقة.
- الكفاءة في استخدام أدوات MS Office، وخاصةً Excel و PowerPoint.
- ستعتبر معرفة أدوات إدارة علاقات العملاء بمثابة ميزة إضافية.
- التواصل - سواء كان مكتوبا أو منطوقا.
- - معرفة شاملة وحديثة بعروض الوكالة واتجاهات الصناعة.
- القدرة على فهم احتياجات العميل والتعامل مع المفاوضات.
