Vacant Positions:

 Senior Accountant

Key Responsible Areas / Accountabilities (KRA):

• Implement financial policies, processes, accounting standards, and other financial controls in the branch, overseeing financial activities of freight cargo, shipping, ground cargo, and general trading.
• Finalize the monthly financial reporting by planning and ensuring timely month-end closing of all accounting books.
• Manage, mentor, and assist the finance team in the branch, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement, ensuring the finance team is in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
• Supervise company bank accounts, monitor day-to-day bank activities, bank account access controls, and reconciliation of bank account statements periodically.
• Review purchase activities, review and approve all supplier petty cash payments in line with Head Office/Regional Accounts Manager’s instructions.

• Oversee and execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing process, including the preparation and review of journal entries to accurately reflect financial transactions and ensure timely completion.
• Prepare branch financial statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow, Profit & Loss, and Aging reports.
• Plan and assist in the internal audit process and manage queries professionally and diligently.
• Ensure invoices are managed properly, contingent liabilities are timely paid, prompt collection of receivables, and debt management in order to maintain branch financial liquidity.
• Supervise the filing and compliance of VAT, external audits, and trading activities for the branch in order to minimize financial and legal risks.

Qualifications/Experiences/Competencies:

• B-Com graduate / Post Graduation in Commerce or MBA in Finance is preferred.
• 4-5 years of experience in large trading companies managing multiple entities, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.

مجالات المسؤولية الرئيسية / المسؤوليات (KRA):

• تنفيذ السياسات المالية والعمليات والمعايير المحاسبية والضوابط المالية الأخرى في الفرع، والإشراف على الأنشطة المالية للشحنات، والشحن، والشحن الأرضي، والتجارة العامة.

• إدارة وتوجيه ومساعدة فريق التمويل في الفرع، وتعزيز ثقافة الأداء العالي والتحسين المستمر، وضمان امتثال فريق التمويل لسياسات الشركة وإجراءاتها.
• الإشراف على حسابات الشركة المصرفية، ومراقبة الأنشطة المصرفية اليومية، وضوابط الوصول إلى الحسابات المصرفية، ومطابقة كشوف الحسابات المصرفية بشكل دوري.
• مراجعة أنشطة الشراء، ومراجعة واعتماد جميع مدفوعات النقدية الصغيرة للموردين بما يتماشى مع تعليمات مدير الحسابات الرئيسي/الإقليمي.

• الإشراف على عملية الإغلاق الشهرية والربع سنوية ونهاية العام وتنفيذها، بما في ذلك إعداد ومراجعة القيود اليومية لتعكس المعاملات المالية بدقة وضمان إكمالها في الوقت المناسب.
• إعداد البيانات المالية للفرع، والميزانيات العمومية، وتدفقات النقد، والأرباح والخسائر، وتقارير الشيخوخة.
• التخطيط والمساعدة في عملية التدقيق الداخلي وإدارة الاستفسارات باحترافية واجتهاد.
• ضمان إدارة الفواتير بشكل صحيح، وسداد الالتزامات الطارئة في الوقت المناسب، والتحصيل السريع للمستحقات، وإدارة الديون من أجل الحفاظ على السيولة المالية للفرع.
• الإشراف على تقديم وامتثال ضريبة القيمة المضافة، والمراجعة الخارجية، وأنشطة التداول للفرع من أجل تقليل المخاطر المالية والقانونية.

المؤهلات / الخبرات / الكفاءات:

• يفضل خريج بكالوريوس تجارة / دراسات عليا في التجارة أو ماجستير إدارة الأعمال في التمويل.
• - 4-5 سنوات خبرة في شركات تجارية كبيرة تدير كيانات متعددة، مع سنتين على الأقل في منصب إشرافي.
