Regulatory Analyst - Arabic Speaker
About the job
CCL Global is seeking a Regulatory Analyst/EHS regulatory and/or Safety Data Sheet experienced candidate who can read and write Arabic.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Any familiarity with EU REACH, CLP, US TSCA, Global GHS requirements.
- Knowledge and experience with the Middle East chemical regulations such as Chemical Control Regulation, Occupational Safety and Health regulations, SDS & Labels, GHS (a must).
- Strong regulatory/legal research, analysis, and writing skills (a must).
- Strong reading comprehension to summarize and explain chemical regulations from various countries in the MEA region in their own words.
Position Overview
Responsibilities consist of legal research and regulatory analysis of environmental, health, and safety (EH&S), chemical control, cosmetics, food, occupational safety, and pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and standards of the EMEA region. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Research and analyze the relevant laws, regulations, and standards of the MEA region, focusing on Middle East & Africa Chemicals management and Food regulatory database coverage.
- Write regulatory news and summaries for regulatory changes and developments (including upcoming legislation) in the MEA region.
- Compile information from the laws, regulations, and standards, organizing and analyzing them for the purposes of the Client’s product lines and services.
- Conduct regulatory framework research in support of new company initiatives (e.g., ESG, Sustainability, PFAS, EPR, etc.) for new content development.
- Provide customers with regulatory analysis and compliance requirements of MEA rules and regulations.
Qualifications
- B.A/B.S. in Law, Environmental Science, Health Sciences, Political Science, or International Affairs (Master’s degree highly preferred).
- More than 2 years of regulatory/legal experience (preferably in the EH&S industry).
- Legal/legislative or chemical background highly preferred.
- Experience working both independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
Skills
- Excellent comprehension in reading English documents. Oral and written fluency or proficiency in English is required.
- Arabic language skills are a must; Turkish is a plus.
- Excellent ability to interpret regulations into data format.
- Excellent ability to present complex ideas in a simple and clear manner.
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills required.

تبحث CCL Global عن محلل تنظيمي / مرشح ذو خبرة في لوائح EHS و/أو ورقة بيانات السلامة الذين يمكنهم القراءة والكتابة باللغة العربية.
المؤهلات المفضلة:

المؤهلات
- شهادة بكاليوس / بكالوريوس في القانون، أو العلوم البيئية، أو العلوم الصحية، أو العلوم السياسية، أو الشؤون الدولية (يفضل أن تكون درجة الماجستير).
- أكثر من 2 سنوات من الخبرة التنظيمية / القانونية (يفضل في صناعة EH&S).
- يُفضل وجود خلفية قانونية أو تشريعية أو كيميائية.
- خبرة في العمل بشكل مستقل وأيضًا كجزء من فرق متعددة التخصصات.
المهارات
- قدرة ممتازة على قراءة وفهم المستندات باللغة الإنجليزية. الطلاقة الشفوية والكتابية في اللغة الإنجليزية مطلوبة.
- مهارات اللغة العربية أمر لا بد منه؛ التركية تعتبر ميزة إضافية.
- قدرة ممتازة على تفسير اللوائح إلى صيغة بيانات.
- القدرة الممتازة على تقديم أفكار معقدة بشكل بسيط وواضح.
- مهارات تحليلية وبحثية وكتابية ممتازة مطلوبة.
