Job Description

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Implement necessary control systems related to Revenue and Expenses and assist in all accounting and system-related matters under the Cluster Chief Accountant (CCA).
• Assist CCA in managing and organizing the day-to-day operations in the Finance Department.

Customer Relations

• Cooperate, coordinate, and communicate with other departments in matters concerning accounting and internal controls.
• Must be able to deal effectively with all levels of management within the hotel and accomplish objectives through personal relationships in areas where little formal authority exists.

Professional Techniques / Production

• Audit Revenue and Expenses to ensure the internal control system is implemented.
• Check all reports, TMS Reports, rebates, and report discrepancies to the CCA.
• Conduct regular payroll audits.
• Make spot checks on inventory together with the F&B cost controller.

Commercial / Sales

• Should not disclose any financial information about Ibis Hotels Kuwait to a competitor.

Management and Administration

• Ensure all accounts staff are proficient in hotel accounting policies and procedures and are diligently implemented.
• Assist CCA in budget and forecast preparations.
• Be punctual at work, and behavior should be geared to represent the hotel in the best possible way at all times.
• Ensure that confidential records and other information are properly safeguarded and not removed from the office.
• 100% timely delivery of all tasks assigned as per the communicated expected date when the task was assigned.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles within Financial Accounting & Reporting.

Qualifications

• University graduate or equivalent diploma in Finance/Accounting.
• At least One or Two Years of Experience in Bahrain.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Sun & Opera system experience will be an extra advantage.
• Arabic is mandatory and Conversational English.

وصف الوظيفة

المهام/المسؤوليات الرئيسية

• تنفيذ الأنظمة الرقابية اللازمة المتعلقة بالإيرادات والنفقات والمساعدة في جميع الأمور المتعلقة بالمحاسبة والنظام تحت إشراف المحاسب الرئيسي للمجمع (CCA).
• مساعدة CCA في إدارة وتنظيم العمليات اليومية في قسم المالية.

علاقات العملاء

• التعاون والتنسيق والتواصل مع الأقسام الأخرى في الأمور المتعلقة بالمحاسبة والرقابة الداخلية.
• يجب أن تكون قادرًا على التعامل بفعالية مع جميع مستويات الإدارة داخل الفندق وتحقيق الأهداف من خلال العلاقات الشخصية في المجالات التي لا توجد فيها سلطة رسمية.

التقنيات المهنية / الإنتاج

• تدقيق الإيرادات والنفقات لضمان تنفيذ النظام الرقابي الداخلي.
• مراجعة جميع التقارير، تقارير TMS، الخصومات والإبلاغ عن أي تناقضات إلى CCA.
• إجراء تدقيق منتظم للرواتب.
• إجراء فحوصات مفاجئة على المخزون بالتعاون مع مراقب تكاليف الأغذية والمشروبات.

التجارية / المبيعات

• يجب عدم الكشف عن أي معلومات مالية تتعلق بفنادق إيبيس الكويت للمنافسين.

الإدارة والإدارة

• التأكد من أن جميع موظفي الحسابات يتمتعون بالكفاءة في سياسات وإجراءات المحاسبة الفندقية ويتم تنفيذها بدقة.
• مساعدة CCA في إعداد الميزانيات والتوقعات.
• الالتزام بالمواعيد في العمل، وأن تكون سلوكياتك مصممة لتمثيل الفندق بأفضل طريقة ممكنة في جميع الأوقات.
• التأكد من أن السجلات السرية والمعلومات الأخرى محمية بشكل صحيح وغير مسموح بإخراجها من المكتب.
• التسليم في الوقت المحدد لجميع المهام الموكلة وفقًا للتاريخ المتوقع المعلن عند تكليف المهمة.
• معرفة شاملة بمبادئ المحاسبة في المحاسبة المالية والتقارير.

المؤهلات

• خريج جامعة أو دبلوم معادل في المالية / المحاسبة.
• خبرة لا تقل عن سنة إلى سنتين في البحرين.
• خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في وظيفة مماثلة.
• تجربة نظام Sun و Opera ستكون ميزة إضافية.
• العربية مطلوبة واللغة الإنجليزية المحكية.

معلومات إضافية

• التأكد من أن مكان العمل يبقى نظيفًا ومرتبًا وأن سلامة السلع القابلة للاستهلاك محفوظة دائمًا من خلال احترام لوائح HACCP.
• احترام التعليمات وإرشادات السلامة للأدوات المستخدمة.
• احترام التزام الفندق بـ "ميثاق البيئة" (توفير الطاقة، إعادة التدوير، فرز النفايات، إلخ).
• التأكد من الامتثال والالتزام باللوائح الصحية، والنظافة، والسلامة في الأقسام وفقًا لمعايير وإجراءات HACCP
