Business Development Executive in bahrain
Local BH – a fast-growing digital media platform creating cutting edge content on trending news, places to go, and things to do, primarily geared towards Millennials and Gen Z of Bahrain – is looking to onboard a Business Development Executive, with a track record of achieving sales targets, preferably within the media and advertising space (or with relevant B2B sales experience).
LocalBH is part of the Local Media Group, with a strong presence in Sharjah and Riyadh, which collectively achieves close to 40 million impressions per month across all channels.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate an excellent command of English, and Arabic as well, and have a strong network of contacts within Bahrain's business community, in addition to possessing a good sense of the publication's audience and knowledge of the local scene.
The candidate is expected to possess strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work comfortably under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage a growing team of sales personnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and develop new business relationships - through cold calls and meetings.
-Achieve personal sales and team sales targets consistently.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years sales or business development experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.
