- The Estimator is responsible for all estimation works in joinery and fit-out works.
- Applicant must have the foundation knowledge in woods and quantity surveying.
Responsible for estimation process.
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
- Understanding drawings and joinery technical issues.
- Visiting sites to gather information needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in similar position.
- Experience in computerized take-off.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to maintain flexible and positive attitude towards work assignments.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment to maximize productivity.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word are essential.
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a professional demeanor.
- Must exhibit exceptional attention to detail and professional commitment to completing all tasks assigned.
