Core Handling Technician
Key Responsibilities:
-
Handle and manage reservoir rock (core) samples.
-
Perform core layout, labeling, surface cleaning, and marking.
-
Maintain accurate core inventory and documentation.
-
Conduct core photography according to project standards.
-
Pack and prepare core samples for storage or shipment.
-
Ensure proper handling procedures and housekeeping in the core facility.
-
Support project leads and follow client operational guidelines.
Requirements:
-
Proven experience in core handling / core house operations.
-
Background in oil & gas, reservoir engineering support, or geological sample management.
-
Familiarity with core handling best practices and documentation.
-
Effective communication skills in English (spoken and written).
-
Teamwork, professionalism, and soft skills in a client-facing environment.
-
Availability to work full-time on-site in Bahrain for the project duration.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Previous experience on long-term projects in the GCC.
-
Experience with international oil & gas operators.
-
Prior involvement in similar core handling or laboratory-based projects.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:
-
التعامل وإدارة عينات الصخور المخزونية (Core Samples).
-
إعداد العينات، تصنيفها، تنظيف السطح، ووضع العلامات عليها.
-
الحفاظ على سجلات دقيقة للمخزون وتوثيق العينات.
-
إجراء تصوير العينات وفق معايير المشروع.
-
تجهيز العينات للتخزين أو الشحن.
-
الالتزام بإجراءات التعامل السليم والنظافة داخل المنشأة.
-
دعم قادة المشروع واتباع إرشادات التشغيل الخاصة بالعميل.
المتطلبات:
-
خبرة مثبتة في التعامل مع العينات الصخرية / عمليات Core House.
-
خلفية في قطاع النفط والغاز، دعم هندسة المكامن، أو إدارة العينات الجيولوجية.
-
الإلمام بأفضل ممارسات التعامل مع العينات والتوثيق.
-
القدرة على التواصل بفعالية باللغة الإنجليزية (كتابة وتحدثًا).
-
مهارات شخصية أساسية، والعمل بروح الفريق، والاحترافية في بيئة العميل.
-
الاستعداد والقدرة على العمل بدوام كامل في الموقع بالبحرين طوال مدة المشروع.
المؤهلات المفضلة:

خبرة سابقة في مشاريع طويلة المدى في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.
-
خبرة مع مشغلي النفط والغاز الدوليين.
-
المشاركة السابقة في مشاريع مشابهة للتعامل مع العينات أو مختبرية.
