Parsons is seeking a CADD Draftsman specializing in Dry and Wet Utilities to join the infrastructure team in Bahrain. The role involves working closely with Designers, Drafters, and Engineers to deliver coordinated and high-quality design outputs for transportation infrastructure and utilities projects including roads and bridges.

You will support the design and drafting of dry and wet utilities including potable water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation/TSE, power, and telecommunications systems.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD workstations to prepare complex layout and design drawings using theoretical knowledge and practical design standards.
• Perform advanced drafting tasks accurately and efficiently both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, Parsons policies, and procedures.
• Use advanced software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure fully coordinated infrastructure and utility designs.
• Develop alternative design layouts and meet project layout requirements.
• Review supplier data and shop drawings to support design coordination.
• Develop and review orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) drawings for roads and utilities.
• Perform checking procedures appropriate to design standards and project requirements.
