Key Objectives

The Divisional Safety Specialist reports directly to the Technical Consultant – HSSE Exploration and Development and is responsible for managing all safety aspects within the assigned department.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for performing work safely to protect people, facilities, and the environment

• Advise on safety compliance for all work activities in line with company policies and procedures

• 80% field-based role observing, auditing, and mentoring contractors and operatives

• 20% office-based role for documentation, reporting, communication, and follow-up

• Participate in shift work and 24/7 field coverage as required

Leadership and Strategic Planning

• Support communication of HSSE vision, mission, and objectives

• Promote a proactive safety culture

• Provide feedback to HSSE department on improvement opportunities

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations (OSHA, IOGP, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)

• Ensure permits, licenses, and regulatory documentation are in place

• Maintain proper documentation and reporting

Risk Management and Hazard Control

• Conduct and support HAZID, HAZOP, and risk assessments

• Review method statements, risk assessments, and JSAs

• Monitor effectiveness of control measures

Site Safety Oversight

• Monitor contractor safety performance through site visits and inspections

• Ensure compliance with PTW systems and operational controls

• Oversee high-risk activities (lifting, hot work, confined space, working at height)

• Participate in PSSR as an occupational safety specialist

• Record and follow up on field observations and corrective actions

Incident Investigation and Reporting

• Support and participate in incident and near-miss investigations

• Conduct root cause analysis using recognized methodologies

• Maintain incident records and submit reports within required timelines

• Analyze trends and recommend preventive actions

الأهداف الرئيسية

يشغل أخصائي السلامة بالقسم منصبًا يتبع مباشرة للمستشار الفني – HSSE للاستكشاف والتطوير، ويتولى مسؤولية جميع جوانب السلامة داخل القسم المخصص له.

المهام والمسؤوليات الرئيسية

• تحمل المسؤولية الشخصية في أداء العمل بأمان لحماية الأفراد، والمرافق، والبيئة

• تقديم المشورة بشأن الامتثال لمتطلبات السلامة في جميع أنشطة العمل وفق سياسات وإجراءات الشركة

• وظيفة ميدانية بنسبة 80% تشمل المراقبة، والتدقيق، والإرشاد للعاملين والمقاولين

• وظيفة مكتبية بنسبة 20% تشمل التوثيق، وإعداد التقارير، والتواصل، والمتابعة

• العمل بنظام المناوبات وتوفير تغطية ميدانية على مدار 24/7 عند الحاجة

القيادة والتخطيط الاستراتيجي

• دعم نشر رؤية ورسالة وأهداف HSSE

• تعزيز ثقافة السلامة الاستباقية

• تقديم الملاحظات لقسم HSSE بشأن فرص التحسين

الامتثال التنظيمي

• المشاركة في مراجعات السلامة قبل بدء التشغيل (PSSR) كأخصائي سلامة مهنية

• توثيق الملاحظات الميدانية ومتابعة الإجراءات التصحيحية

التحقيق في الحوادث وإعداد التقارير

• دعم والمشاركة في التحقيق في الحوادث وحالات شبه الحوادث

• تنفيذ تحليل الأسباب الجذرية باستخدام منهجيات معترف بها

• الحفاظ على سجلات الحوادث ورفع التقارير ضمن الجداول الزمنية المحددة

• تحليل الاتجاهات وتقديم توصيات للإجراءات الوقائية
