About the Company:

Role Overview:
Line Handlers are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assisting vessels during mooring and un-mooring activities at KBSP and other private facilities in Bahrain. The role also involves assisting in routine maintenance of SVITZER vessels and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist vessels in mooring and un-mooring operations under guidance of Line Handling Shift Supervisor.

Carry out pre-arrival and pre-departure safety checks at quay side and report any deficiencies immediately.

Support routine maintenance of the SVITZER fleet.

Ensure compliance with HSE, QSMS, and security policies.
-
Report non-conformities, near-misses, and hazardous situations, and suggest improvements when possible.

Perform other duties as required, including pollution control, general housekeeping, or additional operational tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:

Relevant maritime or operational experience preferred (not strictly specified).

Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and operational discipline.

Ability to work under supervision and follow guidelines accurately.

المهام والمسؤوليات:

إجراء فحوصات السلامة قبل وصول السفينة وقبل مغادرتها عند الرصيف، والإبلاغ عن أي قصور فورًا لمشرف النوبة.

العمل وفق التوجيهات والإرشادات الصادرة من مشرف نوبة التعامل مع الخطوط.
-
تقديم الدعم أثناء الصيانة الروتينية لسفن أسطول Svitzer Bahrain (S.P.C.).
-
الالتزام بسياسات الشركة فيما يخص الصحة والسلامة والبيئة (HSE)، ونظام إدارة الجودة والسلامة (QSMS)، والأمن.
-
المساهمة في مهام أخرى عند الحاجة بما في ذلك: الصيانة، مكافحة التلوث، الأعمال العامة في الموقع، وما إلى ذلك.

الإبلاغ عن جميع حالات عدم المطابقة، الحوادث القريبة، والمواقف الخطرة لمشرف النوبة، مع تقديم اقتراحات للتحسين متى أمكن.
