NOWADAYS TECHNOLOGIES is an international manufacturing company, located in Lithuania (EU) and working in the field of industrial water treatment and purification technology, development and equipment manufacturing. The company is expanding business of developing and manufacturing high and low pressure composite pressure vessels to the Middle East region and is looking for a of Composite Materials / Winding Technologist.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the winding process and technology of composite materials (fiberglass direct roving, epoxy resin and hardener systems, temperature regimes, fibre tension, and impregnation).
Technical tasks preparation for winding programs.
Material selection and testing: resin and hardener systems, fibres, and extra materials.
Mechanical and hydrostatic tests of the final product, and strength calculations.
Implementation of new technologies and optimization of production processes.
Preparation of production technological documentation.
Competences and required skills
Higher technical education (bachelor's and/or master's degree) in the field of Materials Science and/or Material Technology, or similar directions. University education in the field of engineering (Mechanical background) would be considered as an advantage).
Must have knowledge of composite materials: chemical proportions, mixing, pot life, viscosity, impregnation, post-curing, temperature regimes, and other processes.
Knowledge and experience in winding technology / process of pressure vessels.
Coding skills for winding programs would be considered a strong advantage.
Strength calculations of pressure vessels and composite materials using ANSYS or analogue programs.
Good skills in working with SolidWorks software.
Excellent knowledge of the English.
Initiative, result oriented, independent thinking.
