Key Responsibilities:


Establish and maintain worksheets within BAC accounting system to ensure all transactions are recorded and reflected appropriately in the accounting system.

Contribute to the development, writing, coordination, initial implementation, and evaluation of accounting policies and procedures.

At the end of each accounting period, coordinate and administer the monthly closing procedures for BAC and other group companies.

At the end of each accounting period, produce a set of management reports covering the activities of the accounting period.

Review monthly statistical reports of the financial performance, evaluate the position and propose any adjustments required.

Oversee the reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers produced by Receivables, Payables, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Payroll and bank accounts to the General Ledger.

Propose any adjustments required in the general ledger as a result of the subsidiary ledgers reconciliations.

At the end of each accounting period review the Invoicing/Recording of Invoices by Receivables/ Payables, evaluate and produce the necessary revenue and expense accruals adjustments to ensure the management reports reflect accurately the performance of the company.

At the end of each closing period, produce a list of issues and matters requiring the management attention and resolution. Follow up on resolving the issues with the respective departments.

Contribute to the preparation of the mid- year and year-end IFRS and MOICT compliant financial statements.

Contribute to the external auditors statutory audit process, respond to their queries, provide the required documents and information.

Responsible for production of any external and internal requests for financial reports and information.

Support other functions with relation to financial reports and information.

Responsible for maintaining the Inter-Company records and transactions between the GFG group companies.

Review and ensure Intercompany transactions are reflected correctly in each Group company's records and counter reflected in the related party records.

Responsible for producing Inter-Company charges and invoicing between GFG group companies covering service contracts, VAT Group filing, borrowings and other transactions.

Review purchase requests/invoices of new transactions as required and advise on the correct charge account.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc accounting reports as required.
